FAQ HOME
Why can't I ask a bilingual staff member to translate our documents?

Translation of an important document can affect the entire business or organization, as when the translation is not accurate, erroneous decisions could be made. If the staff member who is assigned to translate the document has a flair for both languages and has satisfactory writing, editing and proofreading skills, then the translation you receive will be of a good quality. To assess if they are suitable for the job, you would need to see if they are native speakers of the language which they are translating into, and ask them to write a business letter for you in English, or the language which the document is in. If these two factors are fulfilled, this staff member would probably be able to give you a good translation. However, if your staff member fails to meet these criteria, it would be better if you hired a professional translator to carry out the job.
